The additional Space 1889: After adventures are coming along nicely!
Darrell Hayhurst’s Dire Engines of Aethra is in editing and layout now and will be out to backers of both editions later this summer.
Timothy Brown’s Blackshell Hell, which follows on Darrell’s adventure, sees the cenoates among the asteroids transform into something far more destructive, attracting those who would either stop or harness them; still in design but nearly into editing.
Rachel Savicki’s Hotter Than Hell is set on Mercury, where a mysterious signal has started pinging passing ships from somewhere out in the inhabitable desert, and a mysterious benefactor is offering a reward to the first team to find the source… and silence it; also nearing the end of design.
Beyond that, Richard Rohlin’s adventure concept has been reviewed and he’s ready to set pen to paper, and there is more on the horizon for Space 1889: After, but we can't talk about it just quite yet! But soon, the transmissions will begin...

Hello Backers!
It is with great joy we announce that we have sent all the orders (cards and books) to the printers! You should all have your order information from DriveThru Cards and DriveThru RPG at this point. It typically takes DriveThru 7 to 10 business days to print and ship their orders, so please be patient.
This completes fulfillment for the base kickstarter!! Thank you all for your support and patience as we navigated this first Strange Owl Project.
We hope you love the game, we are very proud of it. We will wait until Friday to make the physical books available to purchase by the general public to ensure you all get yours before anyone else.

Updates on Printing and Shipping

Hello Backers!
To catch up some time and to begin the shipping process, we're shipping the order decks today! These decks must be printed and shipped separately from the books, and after an additional proof requirement from DTRPG (which has been expedited) arrives, your books should be shipping shortly after this.
If you've got a deck coming, you should see the email from DriveThru shortly!

All,
Some good news and bad: The bad news, as you may have noticed, the books have not shipped yet. In early December, we received the new print proof of Space 1889: After from DriveThru, and the previous issues were resolved, and we were ready to print. But there was a small issue with the cover we needed to address to make sure we were putting out our best work for our backers.
We assumed that would be a quick turn around, but due to the holidays, communications took longer than expected.
The good news, the corrections have been submitted and now the files are approved! Once we get final acknowledgement from DriveThru's printer (3 to 5 days out), we can begin to ship these books out to our backers.
As always, thanks for your patience; we’re incredibly proud of this edition of Space 1889: After, and we’re sure you’ll agree it was worth the wait!

Short update! Today is the day! We are charging the credit cards - please make sure that your cards are updated in BackerKit - and will be sending the files and orders to DriveThru next week for printing and shipping!
