Happy Halloween everyone! With the close of October, we have great news! We received our print proofs for Space 1889: After Empyrean Edition, the 5e book, and the order deck! Check out the pictures below.
At this point, there are only a couple of issues we want to address before we have Drivethru print and ship the book. You may notice the white border at the top of the pages in the pictures, and there are a half dozen images we want cleaned up so they can be seen better. But, these files and changes are already in the hands of our layout artist and they will have the final files to us no later than Monday. Which means, we will do the final charges and send Drivethru the orders next week!
We are so excited to have this phase of the project complete and cannot wait to share what is on the horizon for Space 1889!

Orders Locking Friday

Hello Backers,
As we are delivering the final PDFs, we wanted to let you know that they will be available for the general public to purchase on October 1st. Also, because we are now in the print proof phase, Friday, September 22nd marks the start of the 48-hour window to finalize any purchases and preorders before the store closes. Backerkit will send you an email letting you know you have 48 hours to finalize everything.
Once we receive and approve the print proofs, we can give DriveThru the go ahead to start printing and shipping your orders! We will keep you updated on the print proofs as soon as we get the alerts that they are on the way.

All,
We've updated the DriveThru and BackerKit files with the correct PDFs that include covers and bookmarks. If you have not received an email from DriveThru, please message us, and we will look into the issue.
At this point, we are just waiting for print proofs to reach us for review (we'll share pictures once they are in hand!) and once we sign off on them, DriveThru will be printing your hardcopies and sending them out!

A short and sweet update this month!
We have been furiously busy at the Strange Owl HQ. The Empyrean edition was back in the capable hands of our layout person last week, to update all of the hyperlinks for the final print version, and the 5e edition will be back with her this week.
Once she updates those PDFs they will be uploaded to BackerKit and sent off to Drivethru for our print proofs. This will also mean that the PDFs will be available for sale on Drivethru!
As soon as we have the proofs, we will post pictures and begin the process of locking the BackerKit. Assuming there is nothing to fix, we will push through the order to print and ship the books out to everyone!
As of right now, barring any unforeseen complications, we should be ready to ship next month, as expected.
